Baby rabbit reacts after realising it has eaten thistle plant, Suffolk, Britain - Jul 2015
If it looks tasty.. and it smells tasty... then OUCH!
This funny bunny bit off more than it could chew when it tried to nibble at a thistle plant.
Photographer Kevin Sawford snapped the peckish rabbit near Ipswich sizing up the greenery, before taking a bite.
The resulting reactions of the wild rabbit made for this series of hilarious images as it threw its paws in the air, contorted its face in disgust and stuck out its tongue.
Kevin says: "I had been photographing a family of wild rabbits at their warden in the Suffolk countryside over a few days in the summer.
"On this particular evening this youngster started to feed on the thistle plant. At first it seems content with its meal but then realises the mistake it has made when it bites into the prickly plant. Its reaction is priceless.
"The young rabbit soon recovered and was OK but had learnt its lesson on what to feed on."

Tasty Treat For Hungry Squirrel
This squirrel couldn't believe its look when it discovered this tasty chocolate and marshmallow treat.
Clearly not watching its weight, the rodent was spotted gorging itself on a chocolate teacake as it perched high in the branches of a tree in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park.
Indeed, the hungry critter was so eager to eat the unexpected snack, which it had discovered in a bin, that it got the creamy filling all over its face.
Keen to get every last morsel of goodness, the squirrel buried its head in the cake and even appeared to lick clean the silver and red foil it had been wrapped.

*full story: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/f8q9* A 17-year-old girl who has eaten little else but chicken nuggets for the past 15 years had to be rushed to hospital after collapsing. Stacey Irvine has lived on a diet of nuggets and the occasional portion of chips since she was a toddler. Claiming to have never tasted fresh fruit or vegetables, the consequences of her chicken nugget addiction became clear recently when she had to be taken to hospital. The teen was forced to seek treatment after collapsing with difficulties breathing. Doctors discovered she was suffering from anaemia and that the veins in her tongue were inflamed. In addition, her body was so deficient in certain vitamins and nutrients that she had to be injected with them. Stacey has now been urged to drastically change her diet before she does herself irreparable harm, but is finding it difficult to combat her addiction.

Teen's 15 Year Chicken Nugget Addiction
A 17-year-old girl who has eaten little else but chicken nuggets for the past 15 years had to be rushed to hospital after collapsing.
She first tried McDonalds nuggets at the age of two when her mother took her to the restaurant as a treat.
She loved them so much that soon they were all she would eat.
Stacey comments: "I just couldn't face even trying other foods. Mum gave up giving me anything else years ago."
Now nuggets make up the vast majority of her diet - with her only occasionally eating something different such as fries, a slice of toast or a packet of crisps.
She comments: "I am starting to realise this is really bad for me.
"McDonald's chicken nuggets are my favourite. I share 20 with my boyfriend with chips.
"But I also like KFC and supermarket brands. My main meal is always chicken nuggets every day."
Stacey's terrified mother Evonne - whose other children all eat normally - is desperate for her daughter to receive specialist help.
In desperation she even once tried starving Stacey in a bid to get her to eat more...

Lions attack, kill and eat water buffalo on the Okavango Delta, Botswana, Africa - 16 Oct 2011
This unlucky Water Buffalo was isolated from its herd and chased to exhaustion by a pride of lions, before being wrestled to the ground and savaged. The lions tore flesh from its body before vultures moved in to strip any remaining meat from the bones. Photographer Alfred Weissenegger watched from the safety of a safari jeep as the battle developed in the Okavango Delta, Botswana.

Two-Headed Snake Eats its First Meal
Rare, two-headed albino snake eats for the first time.
A few days before Halloween a two-headed albino Honduran milk snake hatched at conservation group: Sunshine Serpents.
Even with the odds of a two-headed or bicephalic snake being born are 10,000 to one the snake has taken its first meal - a baby mouse.
The right head of the snake ate the entirety of the small mouse soon after it was offered with the extra head on hand to watch.
As with most baby snakes the two-headed serpent fed after shedding its skin for the first time.
Owner of Sunshine Serpents and University of Central Florida biologist Daniel Parker said: "After hatching, baby snakes usually have a good reserve of yolk to last them for a while.
"Honduran milk snakes usually shed their skins around two weeks after hatching and are ready to feed after that."
Two days after eating for the first time the snake went through the digestive process, a significant event, as it suggests the snake is functioning normally.
"We were not exactly sure what was going on with this snake on the inside, but now we have a better idea," said Parker.
Sunshine Serpents have decided to sell the two-headed snake and offers above GBP 16,000 ($25,000) will be considered.
Parker explained: "This is such a special animal that I would love to see it on display at a zoo, aquarium, or serpentarium where lots of people can learn from it.
"In my opinion, this is the most beautiful two-headed snake to ever exist, not only is it insanely colourful, but the two heads are perfectly formed.
Sunshine Serpents deal with all kinds of reptiles and amphibians. They guide wildlife tours, lead educational presentations; cons...

Bobcat climbs to top of cactus to avoid being eaten by lion in the Sonoran Desert, Arizona, America - 24 Aug 2011
Mandatory Credit: Photo by Curt Fonger/Solent News / Rex Features ( 1431417d )
Prickly Predicament For Unlucky Bobcat
This unfortunate bobcat landed itself in a prickly situation in an attempt to avoid being eaten by a ferocious lion.
The terrified feline raced across a road and climbed 50 feet up to the top of a Giant Saguaro Cactus after being chased by the hungry beast.
Thwarted, the lion circled the prickly plant for a few minutes before giving up and wandering off to find an easier meal.
However, the bobcat was in now hurry to put its paws on the floor again and remained on top of the cactus in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona for six hours.
Photographer Curt Fonger, 69, captured its predicament on film.
He said: "A friend called me at 7am saying one of his workers had seen a bobcat being chased by a mountain lion.
He said: "A friend called me at 7am saying one of his workers had seen a bobcat being chased by a mountain lion.
"It ran across the road in front of his car and climbed up a large saguaro cactus at the roadside, with the lion hot on its tail.
"The lion didn't pursue the bobcat up the cactus but circled the base.
"It looked up at the bobcat, growled several times, then turned around and trotted back up from where it had come.
"The mountain lion probably had cubs, the bobcat had intruded on its territory and she gave chase to warn the bobcat not to come close to her young family.
"I was astonished that the bobcat was on such a high prickly perch.
"In fact, the beautiful creature seemed quite content and was lying on top of the cactus. It only stood up when I got its attention.
"I thought it would come down when we left.
"But I found out later that the bobcat stayed put for over six hours before finally deciding it was safe enough to come back down.
"When he came down he looked around and then trotted back towards the Superstition Mo...
