CCTV motorist trap in a London suburb.
A motorist is caught on CCTV in a Low Traffic Neighbourhood in Streatham entering a short link road from a roundabout to another route without realising it is "No Entry" to motor vehicles. The scheme is controversial as there are no clear road surface markings to inform car drivers not to enter thus suggesting a CCTV motorist trap in order to make revenue for Lambeth council and TFL. Much of London's roads have become cluttered with multiple signage confusing the motorist.
Creating LTNs does mean that some people, including some who do not benefit from quieter streets, may have a longer journey when travelling out of the area. In general, streets will be blocked off in such a way that they will be forced to access the outside world via one main road. And therein lies the problem and an opportunity for a council to exploit motorists not familiar with the local area.

These amazing images show an aerial view of intriguing markings etched into the ground in South Africa. The aerial photos were taken by local photographer Dillon Marsh and show what appear to be random doodles covering vast areas. Dillon comments: "When seen from above the arid west coast of South Africa features some extraordinary markings. "Clustered between the small towns of Koingnaas and Kotzesrus are vast patterns, often kilometres long ? a variety of shapes and symbols that defy interpretation". However, there fantastical appearance belies a somewhat more everyday explanation. Dillon explains: "These are not the designs of an ancient civilisation or extraterrestrials, but long strips of earth ploughed by local sheep farmers, who grew wheat and barley here to feed their livestock.

These stunning images show humpback whales feeding last week.
Wildlife photographer Roy Mangersnes travelled to Tromsø in Norway to capture the spectacle.
His pictures show massive humpback whales plunging out of the water, fish flying, while they feed on the huge congregation of herring in these fjords during the winter months.
Also pictured are humpback whales resting on the surface of the freezing cold water outside, tired from hunting herring in the deep.
He explains: "As the sun is disappearing from Northern Norway and snow is covering the ground, hundreds of whales are entering the narrow fjords. Under the surface, millions of herring are luring in commercial fishers, whales, eagles and gulls alike."

The hilarious images show our favourite cat with a black moustache not only give good face to camera in a series of flattering portraits, but also, in one picture, dressed up in his fancy formal collar and bow tie.
The Oriental Shorthair belongs to Christine Gonzalez from New Jersey who says: "Stache loves Movember, especially as it is his birthday this month on the 28th. He will be one years old!
"Stache has always been special and people certainly do a double-take when they see his full moustache. He soaks it up thanks to his upbeat personality which always makes him an instant hit with everyone."

His owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, rescued Sam the stray cat from New York and set-up an online profile dedicated to him and his 'eyebrows'.
Sam now has more than 24,000 followers on picture sharing site Instagram with his anxious expression earning him world wide fame.
The two-year-old cat even looks surprised by his new celebrity status.
Since Sam's owner started the Instagram account, the photos have spread to Twitter, Facebook and now his own dedicated website and fan-base.
Sam's biography says the cat enjoys 'eating, worrying, surprises and pooping'.
Sam's owner has said a portion of the proceeds from his website will go to Empty Cages Collective, a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer based animal shelter in Brooklyn, NY.
