The exchange is heard in a trailer for upcoming film In Whose Name?
The beginning features the tense exchange between Kardashian and West , now known as Ye, when they were still married.
He is heard saying: “I’m off my meds for five months now.”
She is then heard saying:” Your personality was not like this a few years ago.”
A filmed scene later sees Ken sitting on a sofa with Kanye stretched out.
She says to him:” We could talk about that later but…”
He jerks his head up and says to her:” There ain’t no but!”
Another time he is heard declaring: “I'd rather be dead than to be on medication. Either they destroy me or I destroy it.'
He and were married from 2014 to 2022 and share four children named North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
He previously said he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016 but earlier this year claimed that was misdiagnosed and was in fact autistic, which is not a mental illness.
Audio clips over the trailer feature West talking and at one stage he says: “ Never tell me I'm going to wake up one day and have nothing.”
There are happy scenes also of Kanye with his family when married to Kim and the pair of them sitting beside each other in what looks like a plane and both are smiling.
Other scenes show him in tears at his Easter Sunday Service performance at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival in the USA.
