'Like an expanding crepe-paper ornament': Marina Tabassum, Serpentine unveils its first movable pavilion.
Marina Tabassum has built emergency homes for the delta-dwellers of the Ganges using grass and bamboo. Her Serpentine pavilion - part tropical glasshouse, part 70s office block - is a chic, meditative place for an overpriced coffee.

Israel Committing Genocide In Gaza, Says EU’s Former Top Diplomat
EU High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs Radolsaw Sikorsky in this file photo taken in Warsaw, Poland on 05 February, 2024. The former EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has launched a blistering attack on Israel, accusing its government of committing genocide in Gaza and “carrying out the largest ethnic-cleansing operation since the end of the second world war in order to create a splendid holiday destination”. He also criticized the EU's lacking response to Israel's aggression against Palestinians. (Photo by Jaap Arriens/NurPhoto)

'Why aren't there Oscars for what we do?' Choreographer Ellen Kane lets rip

From Matilda to Dear England, Ellen Kane is the movement director everyone wants to work with - and her work has lit up hit after smash hit. But, she says, it's time this under-appreciated art received proper recognition.

Ellen Kane, choreographer at The National Theatre, London, UK.

A new smartphone app for Lego lovers is set to get their hands busy — making otherwise unobtainable toy brick masterpieces.
The app lets users take a photo of any object they want to recreate.
Software using artificial intelligence then works out how many and what type of bricks are needed to turn it into a model.
It takes builders step by step through the process if required.
It also allows them to determine how big or small they want their finished model to be.
The app, created by a team in the Czech Republic, is called Brick My World and has been financed through more than €42.000 euros for a lifetime subscription to it.

OPS: The Brick My World takes pbotos of the obkect to be copies and then iuses AI to ceate instructions on how to build it from lego including the number and types of bricks needed.
