The Duke of Sussex, 39, was in Vancouver, Canada to promote his Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style competition for wounded service men and women he founded.
But he took time out to speak with ABC news reporter Will Reeve, son of late Superman actor Christopher Reeve, on Whistler mountain British Columbia, the site of the 2025 Invictus Games.
Harry said he spoke with his father about his diagnosis, which was announced publicly on February 5, and quickly made a plan to see him in person.
He added:"I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could.
"I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go see and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
"I’ve got other trip plans that will take me through the U.K., or back to the U.K., and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

Prince Harry has spoken publicly for the first time about the cancer diagnoses of his father King Charles.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, was in Vancouver, Canada to promote his Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style competition for wounded service men and women he founded.
But he took time out to speak with ABC news reporter Will Reeve, son of late Superman actor Christopher Reeve, on Whistler mountain British Columbia, the site of the 2025 Invictus Games.
Harry said he spoke with his father about his diagnosis, which was announced publicly on February 5, and quickly made a plan to see him in person.
He added:"I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could.
"I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go see and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Prince Harry has spoken publicly for the first time about the cancer diagnoses of his father King Charles.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, was in Vancouver, Canada to promote his Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style competition for wounded service men and women he founded.
But he took time out to speak with ABC news reporter Will Reeve, son of late Superman actor Christopher Reeve, on Whistler mountain British Columbia, the site of the 2025 Invictus Games.
Harry said he spoke with his father about his diagnosis, which was announced publicly on February 5, and quickly made a plan to see him in person.
He added:"I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could.
"I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go see and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
"I’ve got other trip plans that will take me through the U.K., or back to the U.K., and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”
