uperyachts are about to go underwater — with a luxury submarine.
The 165.8 metre-long Migaloo M5 can hold up to 20 guests and 40 crew and can cruise submerged underwater continuously for four weeks.
It comes equipped with a swimming pool, wine cellar and cinema.
The Austrian design company behind it reckoned it would cost around $2 billion USD / €1.84 billion euros to build.
The model isa new update of an original design unveiled back in 2013.
It has been designed to dive to a depth of 250 metres by company Migaloo, based in Graz, Austria.
Migaloo is named after an all-white humpback whale.
CEO Christian Gumpold says the target group are “visionary” billionaires who demand exclusivity, safety and adventure.
