Helicopter drug dealing gang jailed, London, UK - 23 Apr 2018
John Bolter, 36, from Tooting, south-east London, who was jailed for seven-and-a-half years for being part of a helicopter drug dealing gang masterminded by Federick Fagnoul, 50, from Fennieres, Belgium, who was jailed for 17-and-a-half years at Southwark Crown Court today for a £7 million cocaine dealing operation using a helicopter to transport the drugs from Europe to Kent. Fagnoul landed a helicopter at helipads at two hotels in Kent, where the cocaine would then be distributed via car to multiple sellers across the UK. He prepared his flight plans minutes before take off, flying to the UK via Calais to Lydd airport in Kent and the cover story he used when he landed at the hotel was that he had been night fishing. The helicopter was seized by police on September 12 2017 and Fagnoul was seen to remove a number of bags from the helicopter and into a hotel room. A police search of the helicopter revealed a sophisticated hide located under the seats in the main body of the aircraft.

Pest controllers dealing with the giant wasp nest
Giant wasp nest discovered in loft of vacant house, Northamptonshire, UK - 08 Sep 2016
A giant nest built by up to 10,000 stinging wasps have been discovered in a Northamptonshire loft space. The nest was allowed to reach close to its maximum size because the property in question, in the sleepy country village of Pipewell, has been unoccupied for several years. The nest is rare not only because of its size, but because the wasps built an intricate tunnel from the nest to the outside, which is perfectly preserved. It was discovered by pest controllers treating an established woodworm problem prior to the new owners moving in. Pest controller Gary Wilkinson of Pest Professionals, who found the nest, said: "It's an impressive wasp nest alright - much bigger than a barrel. Normally we get called in at the first sign of wasps causing a problem to people. This community has been allowed to go about its business undisturbed for a whole summer season.

Prince William preparing for take off after taking a patient to hospital
Prince William dealing with an air ambulance patient, Cambridge, Britain - 22 Mar 2016

Extraordinary pictures have been revealed showing the caring side of Prince William as he went above and beyond the call of duty at work, comforting a patient and even travelling with him in the ambulance. Photos show the Duke of Cambridge tending to and reassuring the man, who had been injured by a large tree branch, after flying him to hospital in the air ambulance yesterday afternoon (Tues). As co-pilot William is usually seen waiting in the helicopter cock-pit while his colleagues carry out the medical tasks. But this time it was the Duke who was the first to quickly jump out of the helicopter and pull the man, who was in his 30s, out on a stretcher after landing at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. He looked calm and confident as he then worked together with the paramedics to carefully move the patient, who had been injured by a tree branch at work, onto the waiting ambulance trolley.
