    Harry's New Party Animal
    HARRY'S NEW PARTY ANIMAL

Just a few weeks after being dumped by girlfriend Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry has been spotted taking another blonde home to Clarence House.

At 27, Astrid Harbord is three years older than the third in line to the British throne and has a reputation as being a hardcore party animal - something which should fit in with hedonistic Harry's lifestyle.

The couple were seen leaving Raffles night club on Chelsea's King's Road before arriving back at Clarence House in the early hours - even after several hours there was no still sign of Astrid having left.

Astrid is no stranger to the royal circles, having been seen out on several occasions with other friends of the Princes, namely Guy Pelly, Jamie Murray Wells and, most significantly, Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton.

Kate and Astrid were sat wincing together on ringside seats at the Boodles Boxing Ball last year and Astrid wore her best 1980s outfit at the Day-Glo Midnight Charity Roller Disco organised by Middleton and Holly Branson.

Public school-educated, a graduate from the University of Bristol and daughter to vintage car connoisseur Charles Harbord, her family home is the magnificent GBP 1.2 million Prospect House in Wiltshire.

She and her sisters are renowned within society circles as being party animals, earning themselves the nickname of 'The Hardcore Sisters', so she will probably be able to keep up with Harry's impressive drinking capabilities.

Her close friends include Harry's distant cousin Lord Freddie Windsor as well as Prince William's close pal, entrepreneur Jamie Murray Wells.

The Starlight Children's Foundation, brightening the lives of seriously and terminally ill children - The Boodles Boxing Ball is the brainchild of four friends: James Amos, Charlie Gilkes, Hugh Van Cutsem and Jez Lawson, who organise the event every two years. The ball's main sponsor was the luxury jewellers Boodles. James Amos from the Boodles family said 'Boodles are delighted to support this event. It's great fun and raises a huge amount for such a worthwhile charity'. The benefiting charity was Starlight, which grants wishes for terminally and seriously ill children. After dinner, Bianca Nicolas, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, was granted her wish to become a popstar and sing live in front of an audience of several hundred people. An auction was also held later in the evening and the event raised well over GBP 100,000 in total

Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster with son Alastair in Auckland, New Zealand - 20 Feb 2008
Devoted Penny Lancaster might tell her 63-year-old husband ?You Wear It Well? but after a night on stage it?s not surprising if Rod Stewart sometimes needs a helping hand. And luckily for him faithful Penny, 36, was right there to pull him safely to his feet. Rod and Penny lazed on the sand in Auckland as they took son Alastair, 2, to a local playground. ?He?d done two shows in a row and he looked knackered? said an onlooker. ?Little Alastair was haring around in the playground but Rod just sat on a bench or the beach with Penny.? Despite his split from Auckland girl Rachel Hunter, Rod still has a legion of fans in the city and packed out the 12,000 seat Vector Arena two nights running. Rod and his family are now on their way to Brisbane, Australia, for the next leg of his tour.

Air Vice Marshal DCT Bennet, Chief Executive of British South American Airways, left Heathrow today in a converted Lancaster bomber to fly non-stop 3858 miles to Bermuda in something over 20 hours. The flight, without an intermediate landing, will be made by refuelling the Lancaster mid-air over the Azores. This is the first major trial of the flight re-fuelling system developed by Sir Alan Cobham before the war. It is sponsored by the Civil Aviation Ministry.
