Buzz the pig sitting on command whilst being fed by Serena Garner, animal care assistant at RSPCA Block Fen
Rescue pig that thinks it's a dog, March, Cambridgeshire, UK - 11 Oct 2017
A rescue pig who thinks he is a DOG is being hailed as a real-life "Babe." Ten-year-old Buzz has astounded staff at an RSPCA rescue centre by behaving like a dog and even sitting on command. The porky pot-bellied pig has been likened to "Babe" in the 1995 film of Dick King-Smith's novel about a pig, who think he is a dog. "We were so surprised when we realised he will sit on command, just like a dog. But he only does it if he is offered a banana sandwich," said Serena Garner, animal care assistant at RSPCA Block Fen in March, Cambs. "Buzz is a lovely gentle lad and to see him today, you wouldn't guess he'd had such a rough start. "He's such a happy lad now that he is getting regular meals and lots of attention. He loves to have a mooch about with us here in the field at Block Fen, and he adores a scratch behind the ear." Buzz was taken to the centre in July after suffering some neglect and is now looking for a new home. Anyone interested should contact the centre on 0300 123 0726.

Police reconstruction of the kidnapping of british glamour model Chloe Ayling, 20, who was kidnapped by sex traffickers and has recalled her horrific ordeal of being drugged, handcuffed and stuffed in a suitcase during a dark web abduction. Mum Chloe was driven to a remote Italian farmhouse and held captive for six days after being lured to Milan for a bogus photo shoot and then abducted by masked men. Her kidnapper told her he was part of a sinister syndicate called Black Death which sold women as sex slaves and she was going to be auctioned to Arabs on the dark web then fed to tigers when they grew tired of her. She is believed to have been drugged with ketamine before being stuffed in a suitcase (as reconstructed by police here) and held for six days. Polish-born Lukasz Herba, 30, who demanded GBP 270,000 to stop the dark web auction, appeared in an Italian court last week. Police also want to talk to his brother Mikal Herba, 36, as a witness. They lived together in Oldbury, West Midlands. Luzasz Herba was arrested on July 17 after taking Chloe to the British consulate in Milan after he is reported to have taken pity on her because she told him she had a two-year-old son.

Prince Harry visits StreetGames' Fit and Fed initiative, Newham, London, UK - 28 Jul 2017
Prince Harry will visit a summer holiday activity session run by Newham Council?s leisure trust activeNewham on Friday 28th July in Central Park, East Ham. The session, which forms part of the Fit and Fed campaign, aims to provide children and young people from the borough with free access to activity sessions, with lunch included, throughout the summer holidays. Launched in July 2017, Fit and Fed is a response to the pressing issues of holiday hunger, isolation, and inactivity that many children across the UK experience during the school holidays. Research has shown 60 per cent of families with an annual income of GBP 25,000 cannot always afford food during the holidays, and families on less than GBP 15,000 report a constant struggle. Fit and Fed, which brings together community organisations from the StreetGames, Ambition and Sported networks, will operate in 100 disadvantaged neighbourhoods across the country this summer, and in 2017 aims to engage 12,000 children and young people.

July 28, 2017 - London, Great Britain, United Kingdom - Prince Harry visits a summer holiday activity session run by Newham Council's leisure trust activeNewham, in Central Park, East Ham, London...The session, which forms part of the Fit and Fed campaign, aims to provide children and young people from the borough with free access to activity sessions, with lunch included, throughout the summer holidays...Launched in July 2017, Fit and Fed is a response to the pressing issues of holiday hunger, isolation, and inactivity that many children across the UK experience during the school holidays. Research has shown 60 per cent of families with an annual income of £25,000 cannot always afford food during the holidays, and families on less than £15,000 report a constant struggle. Fit and Fed, which brings together community organisations from the StreetGames, Ambition and Sported networks, will operate in 100 disadvantaged neighbourhoods across the country this summer, and in 2017 aims to engage 12,000 children and young people...JULY 28th 2017 (FOTO: DUKAS/ZUMA)
