Tarrag shot at Bordalen near Voss. Thomas Bakke says: "This is a multiple exposure shot. A short exposure of Tarraq and a long one for the river and waterfall. Melted together in Photoshop."
The dog photography of Thomas Bakke, Norway - 2016
    FULL WORDS: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/stqf

The relationship between one man and his dog has resulted in an amazing photographic partnership.

Thomas Bakke, from Norway, always enjoyed hikes with his four-legged friend Tarraq, but it was his early shots of the energetic canine that fostered an impressive interest in documenting their time together.

The results feature spectacular images of the five-year-old Saarloos Wolfhound breed dog set against jaw-dropping landscapes.

Highlights include Tarraq leaping between two huge boulders, as well as backdrops of mountain ranges, rivers and waterfalls.

Michael Guthrie and his mother Claire play with Rosie, a rescue black labrador dog, at their home in Manassas Park, VA on April 5, 2008. Michael has Hypotonia, low muscle tone which was the underlying cause for his developmental problems. After much research work and lots of doctor visits, he was diagnosed with Dyspraxia, difficulty in planning and carrying out complex movements. The low tone makes it difficult for Michael to form words and the Dyspraxia/Apraxia makes it difficult for his brain to coordinate all that it needs to put together in order to speak.
The family adopted a rescue dog "Rosie", Michael took to her right away and his speach began to improve - a week later, their speech pathologist couldn?t believe the improvement, and said that kids with Apraxia don?t usually improve like this. They were told that dogs were very good with children with Apraxia. The stimulation and the activity of the dog, awakens the muscles that need to work in order to bring about speech and bodily movements.
