    MAN TRIMS HEDGE - WITH RIDE-ON LAWNMOWER

    Forget struggling with pruning shears, one mysterious gardener has gotten to the root of the problem of trimming tricky hedges - by using a ride-on lawnmower.

    The man was spotted being hoisted by crane onto the two metre-high privet at a house in Cambridge, New Zealand.

    And passerby Bart Dinger managed to snap some pictures of the perilous pruning manoeuvre.

    Bart explains: "I couldn't work out why cars where slowing down until I caught sight of the crane (FOTO:DUKAS/REX)
