*Full story: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/rg1b
In the year that ?The Iron Lady? would have celebrated her 90th birthday, approximately 350 historic and personal lots will be offered across two landmark sales: a flagship auction presenting 150 lots in London at Christie?s headquarters on Tuesday 15 December, and an online only sale comprising 200 lots from 3 December to 16 December. These sales are taking place 25 years after Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013) left Office, following an 11-year tenure as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1979-1990). With items relating to Margaret Thatcher?s time in Office, including her red leather Prime Ministerial Dispatch box (estimate: GBP 3,000-5,000), speech notes and an impressive gift from President Ronald Reagan, alongside jewellery, clothes and handbags, these auctions present unique opportunities for collectors to acquire property from the longest serving Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in the 20th century

Prince Harry has returned from duty serving as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan, only to find himself in the firing line of the British and international press.
His arguably flippant remarks in an interview, stating that he had killed Taliban fighters and that his fighting skills on games consoles had translated well into his helicopter attack skills, have caused uproar from a Taliban spokesman and raised a few eyebrows in Britain of those who believe he has made himself even more of a target for insurgents than he was before. Others have bemoaned his apparent glamorisation of killing and belittling of life as something that can be extinguished from afar at the touch of a button.

Prince Harry tour of duty in Afghanistan - 2012
Prince Harry has been spotted out and about in London celebrating his return from Afghanistan. On Saturday night, just three days after his return, the Prince hit the town with friends and was seen stocking up at a local supermarket. It was then onto an all night house party in Fulham with a bleary-eyed Harry leaving the next morning at around 10.30. Dressed casually in jeans, a check shirt and a baseball cap the Prince was picked up in a black range rover by his royal protection officers who had been patiently waiting outside. Harry is currently on leave following his 20-week deployment in Afghanistan.

Christina O moored at South Quay in London's docklands. First built for the Royal Canadian Navy in 1943 as a river frigate called HMCS Stormont, Christina O took part in the second world war as part of the convoy that protected allied merchant ships in the Battle of the Atlantic and she was present during the D-Day landings serving off Juno beach. She is now one of the only surviving World War II ships that is still sailing. Aristotle Onassis bought the ship in 1954 and named it Christina O after his daughter. He gutted and converted the ship into one of the world's most luxurious private yachts at a cost of $4 million (equivalent to $45 million today). Chritina O is available for private charter.
