STUDIO - Billy Monger
Motor racing driver Billy Monger (wizz) Who lost both legs racing at Donington park last year, at his home near Gatwick.
Billy Monger had both legs amputated after a racing crash last year. But the teenager is walking, swimming and driving again. Like many teenagers, the racing driver Billy Monger spent his 18th birthday in the pub with friends. But getting there was slightly complicated: he had to sneak out of hospital in a wheelchair he had only just become accustomed to.
A fortnight earlier, Monger had nearly been killed in a crash at Donington Park while driving in a Formula 4 race. He had both legs amputated in hospital Ñ one below the knee, the other just above.
The accident in April last year triggered one of the fastest just giving campaigns in history with 20,000 people including Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button donating more than £800,000 to help with his rehabilitation.

Formula E racing Berlin, Germany.
Technicians load dry ice into the cars to cool the batteries in the pits.
Sebastien Buemi has reduced Lucas di Grassi?s lead in the FIA Formula E Championship to just a single point following victory in the BMW i Berlin ePrix.
Buemi?s first win since Punta del Este in December came after he battled his way past polesitter Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Virgin Racing) and built up a comfortable lead.
This was reduced to nothing when the Qualcomm Safety Car was called out to retrieve the stricken Dragon Racing car of Loic Duval.
This gave the chasing pack a chance to close in, but Buemi timed his restart perfectly and pulled away to claim his third win of the season.
Formula E is a ground-breaking FIA championship and the world?s first fully-electric racing series. It represents a vision for the future of the motor industry, serving as a framework for research and development around the electric vehicle, accelerating general interest in these cars and promoting sustainability. The first season began in Beijing in September 2014 and completed in London in June 2015, racing in 10 major cities (11 races) around the world. The championship sees nine teams, each with two drivers, going head-to-head to create a unique and exciting
racing series designed to appeal to a new generation of motorsport fans. Season two got underway in October in Beijing with the series becoming an ?open championship? allowing approved manufacturers to develop new powertrain solutions. Future seasons will see the regulations open up further allowing manufacturers to focus on improving battery technology.

MOSS TRAPPED IN CRUMPLED CAR
GOODWOOD, SUSSEX: British racing driver Stiring Moss (centre) is being lifted out of his new V-8 Lotus Climax car here today after it had run off the track into the bank during the 35th lap of the Goodwood International '100'.
Special cutters and hacksaws were used to free Moss and first aid workers milled around the car, some of them holding blanket screens to prevent pictures being taken. A piece of blood stained cotton wool covers Stirling's eyes. Moss was semi-conscious at the time this picture was taken and his first thoughts were to ask Marshals Control Point at St Mary's to radio a message to his mother who was on the course. It was later officially announced by the Royal West Sussex hospital, Chichester where he was taken by ambulance, that Moss's injuries were of a serious nature.
Earlier in the day, sky-diving Tony Miller (24) suffered a broken arm when he jumped 5000 feet during the National sky-diving championship at Goodwood. His parachute only partially opened. Miller was taken to Chichester hospital.
