Debbie Harry computer portrait by Warhol
EXCLUSIVE: July 23, 1985 - New York, New York, United Sates: Andy Warhol uses Debbie Harry of Blondie as a model to demonstrate the video capabilities of the Amiga computer. The long-lost portrait of Blondie singer Debbie Harry created by Warhol in 1985 had been hanging in rural Delaware and in August 2024 went up for sale for $26 Million. The Harry portrait was created on an early home computer when Warhol was an ambassador for a now-defunct tech outfit. Warhol had signed on as a brand ambassador to tech company Commodore and created the portrait on an Amiga 1000 home computer as part of a promo at Lincoln Center.(Allan Tannenbaum/Polaris) (FOTO:DUKAS/POLARIS)
