Pictured: The young baboon up to it's antics

This adorable baby baboon looks to be lost in thought as he closes his eyes and scratches his head with one foot. The teddy-bear sized toddler was taking a break from playtime with other youngsters.

His mother waited on a nearby branch, ready to intervene and calm the infants if their play became too rough. These gorgeous images were captured by Jacques-André Dupont, 51, on an eight day safari in Tarangire National Park, Tanzania. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.

Pictured: The muddy penguin stood along side two clean ones.

Anyone know where the shower is? A King Penguin walks with his two friends after falling over in the mud.

British photographer, Philip Field, 32, captured this unusual scene on Salisbury Plain in South Georgia.

Philip explains, "It took me a little while to work out what had happened to the poor chap! At first I thought the black coating was oil but then after tracking the path of the penguins I noticed they had crossed an extremely boggy patch of marsh land between the tussock grass and main King penguin colony.

Mr Field who lives in Bath and works as a Brand Consultant spent two weeks in South Georgia photographing King Penguins, "I had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing things right and to my surprise I was - a mud covered penguin!"

Pictured: The female watches the two male Toucans fighting in Costa Rica.

Tou-can tangle! It's difficult to tell whose beak is who's as this pair of toucans fight over a female. The yellow-throated toucans' beautiful red and yellow beaks clashed as they bit and wrestled each other in a bid to win a mate's affections.

A female toucan had been sitting with one of the males on a branch when the second male invaded their privacy by landing on a lower branch in the same tree. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.

The little family were photographed out on the sea ice, off the coast of Baffin Island, in the Canadian Arctic north, of Qikiqtarjuaq, Nunavut. Lawyer John Rollins, who was on an exploration trip to the Arctic Circle, was about to head home with his group due to an incoming storm when they spotted the mother and her cubs.

At first I thought the black coating was oil but then after tracking the path of the penguins I noticed they had crossed an extremely boggy patch of marsh land between the tussock grass and main King penguin colony.
