The pair were together on Signal Hill in Cape Town where the prince is holding his EarthShot Prize conservation prize

Irwin tweeted a video of himself with William, in which he asked the prince to name his favourite African animal.
William replies: “Oh, it's a tough question, it's a really tough question.
“My children ask me this regularly. I think I'm going to have to say the cheetah. Fantastic animal.’
Irwin then said his was the colour changing chameleon.
Irwin told followers: “A wonderful morning for a hike on the stunning Signal Hill, Cape Town, discussing the amazing conservation work happening here! I’m honoured to be part of the @EarthshotPrize family and can’t wait for the awards tomorrow night.”
His dad Steve, a TV personality and wildlife educator, died inSeptember 2006, when he was pierced in the chest by a barb from a stingray while filming in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
