Prince William's Rented Cottage Near RAF Valley, Anglesey, North Wales, Britain - Nov 2010

A House Fit For A Prince And Princess
Though they have only just announced their engagement, according to reports Prince William and Kate Middleton have been already been 'playing house' for several months.
The pair have allegedly been quietly living together at the cottage rented by William on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
The Prince set up home at the isolated cottage because it is near to RAF Valley Base, where he has been training to fly search rescue helicopters.
And with William still having three more years at the base, this means the couple will start their married life in Anglesey.
Which shouldn't be too much of a challenge as they have already reportedly been 'road testing' married life.
In the past six months the pair have taken to spending much of their time together in the close-knit community - though Kate still officially lives at her parents.
Locals around the island have become accustomed to seeing the pair and the area offers them quiet and relative privacy.
Once William has finished his three year stint it is thought that the couple may move to an eco-friendly house built by Charles at Harewood Park in Herefordshire.

A photographer has captured a series of stunning photos of the Peruvian landscape.
Photographer Brian Flaherty created the Notes from Peru photo series to document his journey across the southern Peruvian landscape, from the rugged extremes of the Andes to the vast expanse of desert at the Pacific.
Brian, who is from San Francisco, said: "Throughout the journey I was struck by both the deep history and character of the land and the inhabitants who weather its elements with grace, fortitude and a posture of humility.
"This series of photos provides a small glimpse of the strength of this land and its people."

Photographer Stephen Ippolito, 45, regularly takes photos of the Milky Way, and was pleasantly surprised to see a seal photo-bombing his perfect shot.
Stephen was setting up his camera, whilst waiting for friends to arrive, when he saw something moving on the sand.
To his surprise it was a seal, basking on the sand. The seal began to waddle closer to Stephen and he decide to capture the perfect moment.

Orphaned Meerkats Thrive After Being Raised on an Aga, Axe Valley Bird & Animal Park, Devon, Britain - 22 Feb 2010
ABANDONED MEERKATS RULE THE ROOST
Brought up on an aga, abandoned meerkats Wren and Rascal had a somewhat unusual start to life.
They and a third sibling were rejected by their mother shortly after being born, tossed out of the den and into the cold.
Luckily for the tiny creatures their abandonment took place at the Axe Valley Bird and Animal Park, which is run by Jayne Collier and her husband Andrew.
Jayne is at a loss to explain why her breeding female rejected the trio, as she has raised youngsters in the past and has even gone on to raise another set since.
Whatever the reason, it was down to Jayne to become adoptive mum to the lonesome babies.
Despite her best ministrations one didn't make it, but Wren and Rascal proved to be made of tougher stuff.
The pair, who were just the size of a finger, spent their first weeks of life inside a glove on top of the Colliers' kitchen Aga
As they grew they were given free-range of the house, which brought out their destructive side.
Following their natural instincts, the dastardly duo spent their days digging and burrowing - scraping out the grouting between the kitchen flagstones and fluffing up the carpet.
And despite their shaky start in life the two certainly weren't timid; they would regularly join the humans for walks around the farm, terrifying the dogs with their sharp teeth.
Eventually Jayne built the tear-away twosome their own new pen, as they wouldn't now be welcomed back by their original family.
So as they approach their first birthday Wren and Racal are kings of their own domain and can even expect the arrival of two new females soon.

Polish Frizzle Chickens at Golden Valley Poultry Farm in Grayshott, Surrey, Britain - 02 Apr 2009
A BAD FEATHER DAY
They may not be the best layers around but what these Polish Frizzle Chickens lack in substance they make up for with style.
The bizarre trio are, rather appropriately, named Furball, Fizz and Fuzz and they belong to Suzie Baldwin of Golden Valley Poultry in Grayshott, Surrey.
Their bizarre appearance is all courtesy of the fact their feathers point outwards and forwards - forming a rather unique look.
According to Suzie they aren't great when it comes to laying eggs but their charming personalities more than make up for the fact.
However, don't mention rain to the trio as it is the one thing guaranteed to give them something to cluck about.
Like any discerning females, they're rather annoyed when wet weather causes their 'hairdo' to fly out on control - prompting a bad feather day.

Boat Rally At Dal Lake Organized To Revive Tourism In Kashmir
Workers of the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party participate in a boat rally at Dal Lake in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, on June 18, 2025. Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari leads a boat rally at Dal Lake for the revival of tourism in Kashmir two days after the Jammu and Kashmir government reopens 16 tourist destinations for tourists and locals. Over 40 tourist destinations across Jammu and Kashmir have been closed for tourists and locals following the April 22 terrorist attack in Baisaran meadows of Pahalgam tourist destination, 100 km south of Srinagar. The Pahalgam terror attack leads to the cancellation of nearly 80% of tourist bookings in the valley, delivering a severe blow to the tourism sector, which contributes significantly to the region's GDP. This setback occurs at a time when the region witnesses back-to-back tourism booms and hopes for a bumper tourist season this year as well. At least 26 tourists are killed on April 22 when gunmen open fire on a group of tourists in Pahalgam, in what officials describe as the most serious civilian attack in the region in recent years. Meanwhile, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi tells U.S. President Donald Trump late on Tuesday that a ceasefire between India and Pakistan after a four-day conflict in May is achieved through talks between the two militaries and not U.S. mediation, India's senior-most diplomat says. Donald Trump had said last month that the nuclear-armed South Asian neighbors agree to a ceasefire after talks mediated by the U.S., and that the hostilities end after he urges the countries to focus on trade instead of war.
