Sportswear maker Puma has unveiled a tasty looking new range of trainers — themed around Cheetos cheese snacks.

They come in the same orange colour as the nibbles.

The shoes are  the latest in what is a a signature franchise for Puma by US NBA basketball star Scoot Henderson who plays for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Called Scoot Zeros x Cheetos, the footwear is described as an “awesomely orange “colour that blends Henderson’s personal mantra “Overly Determined to Dominate” with the “iconic spots” of Cheetos advertising animated cheetah character Chester.

The collaboration shoe  features ultra-non-slip rubber compounds on the sole for added traction.

There is  Scoot “S” logo branding as an accent on the tongue, along with an additional one on the medial heel, imitating a flame to signify Cheetos Flamin’ Hot  flavour.

Alongside the Scoot Zeros x Cheetos shoe, Puma is releasing a Cheetos-inspired  suede classic for more of a lifestyle feel.

There is also an eight-piece apparel collection to accompany the shoe release which includes Chester Cheetah inspired pants, hoodie, shorts and graphic tee-shirt variations.

The global launch for the Puma x Cheetos  collection will be on February 16th.

  • In search of a new job for Portugal's ancient pony breed
    DUKAS_164375458_EYE
In search of a new job for Portugal's ancient pony breed
Known since Palaeolithic times, valued by the Romans and key to Portugal's empire-building, there are now less than 3,000 Garranos ponies left.

After 16,000 years of domestication, the breed began to fall from favour in the middle of the 20th century as farms were mechanised and tractors and cars replaced horses. In the 1940s, there were between 40,000 and 60,000 Garranos in Portugal. Current estimates put the total population at 1,500-3,000.

Michel Pereira, 55, Garrano breeder and trainer, looks for horses in the Cabreira Mountain, Vieira do Minho, Portugal. 11th of December 2023

90210 alum Jennie Garth, 51, puts her issues with arthritis aside as she powers through an intense workout in the San Fernando Valley. The mom-of-three recently revealed that she was diagnosed with osteoarthritis ? the most common form of the joint condition ? five years ago and how it prompted her to hire a personal trainer to help power through the pain and stay as active as possible. ñGoing to a doctor or a specialist and getting that diagnosis is key, because from that knowledge, we can do our work,î Jennie confided to People magazine in March, adding: ñIt spurred me into being more physically active and working with a trainer.î 2018 proved to be a tumultuous year for the actress, as her third husband Dave Abrams filed for divorce after three years of marriage citing irreconcilable differences. The pair separated but got back together ten months later and have remained married to date. For her gym outing on May 24, 2023 Jennie went makeup free and wore black sweats, a gray tank top and Nike Air Max 270 trainers. On her exit from the gym she stopped to hug an admiring fan and pose for selfies. JennieÍs trainer walked her to the car and the pair chatted for a while before she made her way home.

Trainer Sir Mark Prescott at his stables in Newmarket: 'I've only had 50 boxes and never wanted more.'

Before his mare takes on the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, the trainer recalls the fall that changed everything and an elusive relationship.

Mark Prescott says as he counts down the hours until he discovers whether, as British racing's longest-serving trainer at the age of 74, his horse Alpinista will win the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp in Paris on Sunday afternoon. The Arc is Europe's richest horse race and Prescott, the most interesting man in racing, has a real chance of capping his career of 53 years by training the winner.

Beyond being the longest-serving trainer in British racing he is also a 3rd baronet, an innovator, a bachelor who lives "a Sherlock Holmes lifestyle", an amateur boxing ref, a bullfight aficionado, an all-round card and a trainer who sees his job as an art form.
