The microscopic dwelling , made out of silicon, is in the style of the gingerbread house from the Hansel and Gretel Brothers Grimm fairy story.Even more incredible, the miniscule creation was built on the head of a winking silicone snowman.Both of them together are barely taller than the width of a human hair .The house measures just six microns wide by 10 microns long.A micron is 0.001 of a millimeterThe house and snowman were made by researcher Travis Casagrande at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.When the pieces are paced next to a human hair under the microscope . the hair looks like a huge tree trunk in comparison.
