Feb. 18, 2016 - Kiev, Ukraine - Ukrainians lay flowers at the memorial for Maidan activists or ''Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred'', who were killed on the Maidan during anti-government protests, in downtown Kiev, Ukraine, 18 February 2016. This week Ukrainians mark the second anniversary of the shooting of activists of Euromaidan or Revolution of Dignity. On 21 November 2013 activists started an anti-government picket after then-Prime Minister Mykola Azarov announced the suspension of a landmark treaty with the European Union. The protests eventually led to the ouster of President Viktor Yanukovych, creating political rifts through the country that erupted into violent conflict between seperatists and government forces in the East of the country (FOTO: DUKAS/ZUMA)
