NEWS - Vandalismus: Unbekannter verziert Banksy Rentiere mit einer roter Nase
The Banksy mural at the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, has been defaced by a vandal who sprayed red noses on the reindeer. December 10, 2019. The Banksy mural which attracted hundreds of fans to the Jewellery Quarter on Monday has been 'defaced by a vandal' who reportedly shouted out "shall i tag it?" The artwork showing two black and white reindeer had been painted on to a brick wall on Vyse Street in the Jewellery Quarter. Banksy had earlier released a video on Instagram showing a homeless man called Ryan having a drink before he settles down on a bench. The camera pans outwards and show a pair of reindeers appearing to spirit him away into the star-filled sky. Large crowds then flocked to Vyse Street to have selfies taken of themselves sitting on the bench next to the incredible mural. The incident happened at around 5pm as people 'begged the man not to do it'. A bystander said: "This guy was there with a tin of red spray paint in his hand. He kept asking saying 'shall i tag it?' People were saying 'no don't do it.' He then went up to the mural and sprayed both of the reindeer noses red to turn them into Rudolf. *** Local Caption *** *** Local Caption *** 30504550
