Here’s a way to add sparkle to any food – an olive oil containing real gold.Organically-grown olives from Slovenia are used to make the oil to which the 24 karat flakes are added. The oil is bended by a ward-winning olive miller Boris Jenko. The product is said to be a hit with celebrities and Michelin star restaurant clientele. The olive oil, called simply Golden , comes in 200ml bottles for €225 Euros each.A spokesman said:” Golden olive oil is organically grown and extracted from the finest olive trees in Slovenia.“ Critically acclaimed for its quality, Golden has been ranked among the top 20 best olive oils in the world. “Supplements of fine edible 24k gold are like sun rays trapped in graceful packaging, giving our olive oil a touch of endless elegance, undeniable taste and premium value. “Ancient cultures regarded gold as a mystical metal representing the perfection of matter and believed that it can stimulate the human life force and amplify vibrations on all levels when ingested.”

It's enough to melt your wallet. Londoners can now buy the nation’s “most expensive ice-cream” for a cool £99 a cone. The Billionaire’s Soft Serve, on sale at Selfridges, comes complete with a gold-leaf coated flake and spoon. Each wafer cone, dipped in dark chocolate and coated in golden pearls, contains a dollop as big as your head and weighs in at 350g, about the same as an entire tub of shop-bought ice cream. Two hands are needed to hold it. Experts from ice cream brand Snowflake began making the extravagant concoctions to order this week at the department store in Oxford Street. They intersperse gelato with caramelised pecans and Belgian white chocolate truffles, and place a raspberry sorbet macaroon, fruit-filled pipettes and edible "diamonds" on top. Picture shows people on the sand dunes in the Sahara Desert near the town of Ain Sefra this morning (January 20th 2017) after the region was hit with heavy snowfall.
The SAHARA Desert has had the biggest SNOWFALL in living memory after a freak winter storm this morning (Fri) - just days after 2016 was found to be the world's warmest year ever.
Photographers have taken incredible pictures this morning of ONE METRE deep snow covering the sand in the small Saharan desert town of Ain Sefra.
The town saw a sprinkling of snow just before Christmas, when a few flakes settled on the red sand dunes of the world's hottest desert for the first time in 37 year
