    The Doughnut Pool Table took eight weeks to hand-build from scratch

    If Homer Simpson ever designed a pool table it would look like this - a huge pink donut.

    However, the bizarre billiards on offer here is actually a serious piece by furniture artist Cléon Daniel.

    The 27-year-old from Dorset says the Doughnut Pool Table is based on a sweat treat "symbolic of temptation in today's world, and mass produced in endless variety to feed a tempted public. They are everywhere, for everyone, good for you, bad for you, and fun."

    Cleon says the idea follows on from his previous Banana Pool Table, and came as a result of people suggesting other fruits.
