A millionaire couple has had a Rolls-Royce custom built — as a tribute to their dog.
The Spectre coupe is dedicated to their Labrador-Golden Retriever mix named Bailey and even has its image inside.
The luxury EV was created by the British car maker’s money-no-object Rolls-Bespoke programme.
The commission, known officially as Spectre Bailey, was curated through Rolls-Royce’s Private Office in New York where clients dream up their most personal creations.
The car features paw prints, rose gold accents, and a painstakingly handcrafted portrait of Bailey himself.
Between the rear seats is a marquetry portrait of Bailey constructed from over 180 pieces of veneer in 22 different shades.
Each sliver was cut, shaped, and assembled over four months, with the artisans even experimenting with materials Rolls-Royce had never used before.
Bailey’s tongue alone required four separate veneers, chosen for their natural variations in colour.
The leather scheme is said to echo the tones of Bailey’s fur colours using shades of brown and tan.
Paw prints are etched into rose gold tread plates and worked into the dashboard trim.

The first of first of just three Rolls Royce cars given a rear inspired by the hull of a yacht, has been unveiled.Three sets of clients got together to ask the luxury car maker to create the special vehicles for which model-specific parts had to be designed and made. The money-no-object vehicles, known as Boat Tails, were built by the UK firm’s coach-building department which handles special commissions.Three sets of hugely wealthy clients approached Rolls to create the basic cars with each then adding their own customisation to reflect their personal requirements. That was back in 2017 and now, after four years the first convertible car is ready. At nearly 5.8m long, the front profile is centred on a new treatment of Rolls-Royce’s iconic grille and lights.

A custom-built Rolls-Royce Phantom has been given a blooming lovely interior – consisting of embroidered flowers created with a million stitches. The design , featuring a rose called Phantom, covers the roof lining and door panels of the luxury limousine which was commissioned by Swedish entrepreneur Ayad Al Safa. The Stockholm-based businessman has what the car maker described as a “ extraordinary passion for flowers. “Mr Al Safa even has two of his four children named after flowers. The basic Phantom costs £363,600 GBP / €431.580 Euros with many customers routinely opting for options that boost the price on average by another £100,000 GBP/ €118.700 Euros. The cost of the embroidery has not been disclosed. He challenged the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective comprising designers, craftspeople and engineers, to envision a car that immerses its occupants in a beguiling floral scene. A spokesman for the British car company said:” The result is a sanctuary of true luxury, a vision of flowers.”
