Chief Johnson Kahuwya who claims to be 103 years old and is believed to be the only man alive who saw John Frum as he met with village chiefs in 1937 on Tanna to tell them to maintain their traditional customs. The chief is wearing a so-called small namba, the penis sheath that is the only covering for men who live traditionally in Tanna and elsewhere in Vanuatu.
