Field Marshall the Giant Charolais Bull, Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, Britain - 04 Dec 2007
The farmer who brought us Britain's biggest bullock has found another record breaker - measuring 6ft 3in tall.
Arthur Duckett, 78, reckons massive Field Marshall, his six-year-old Charolet bull, weighing in at 1,360 kilos will be crowned the nations biggest. Arthur, a farmer, from Burnham-on-sea, Somerset, immediately saw the bull's potential, and said it will put on 300 kilos in the next year. He bought the white bullock two years ago and decided to keep it as a pet when he realised it was a one-off.
Two years ago Arthur and his wife Helen broke records with their 6ft 5in bull Colonel, who weighed 3,500lbs. The Colonel and Field Marshall are kept in a 22-acre field on Arthur's farm, and is in good company as he shares the plot with a 5ft 6in tall Highland steer called The Captain. 717981f

WEIRD STATUES AROUND THE WORLD
Don't lose your head: A business man has a novel way of spying on the workers of Ernst & Young in Los Angeles.
Smile: The people of Bratislava get papped by a sneaky snapper
Wall meet again: One particularly determined artist emerges from a wall in Montmartre, Paris.
Hello, Hello, Hello: Who's been tripped up here then?
Helping hand: Visitors to Venice rest their feet on an unusual perch.
Cheeky chap: A drain worker spends his time looking up ladies skirts in Old Town, Bratislava.
Fishy goings on: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a giant flying shark!
Reaching for the stars: Who needs stairs at the Rockefeller centre in New York when a giant steel pole will do.
Dancing dolphins: A young girl defies gravity to play with a dolphin near Tower Bridge in London.
To the point: The Swedes have a novel way of pointing visitors in the right direction of the royal palace.
Who'd have forked it: The tasty treats on offer in Switzerland demand some serious utensils.
Strange bedfellows: We've heard of falling out of bed before, but this is ridiculous.
Big spender: Someone is obviously ready for a serious shopping spree in Melbourne, Australia.
Cherrylicious: Breakfast has never looked so good at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis.
A hard day's night: One weary late night reveller finds a strange place to catch a little shuteye.
Making waves: A swimmer in London finds the grass a lot less polluted than the Thames.
That sinking feeling: A rather rude awakening in Washington D.C
Ghost rider: Even the dead care for the environment in Nevada by choosing peddle power.
In a twist: A powerful peace ...

The World On Your Finger
THE WORLD ON YOUR FINGER
Foreign travel can be hassle, but why go to all that bother when you can have the world's landmarks - on your FINGER.
A wacky jewellery company have created a line of rings that depict some of the most familiar tourist spots in the world.
The quirky accessories include mini versions of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Seattle's Space Needle, Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower.
Jen Murse, owner of Plastique, came up with the idea while on one of her frequent trips abroad from her home in Los Angeles.
"I love to travel - I've been all over the world - and I was trying to coming up with new ideas for more jewellery pieces so I thought about things I like.
"I decided that it would be fun to make a set of world landmark rings so that you can sort of bring the world to your fingertips."
Her 'World Landmarks' acrylic ring range comes in a set of four for GBP 15 ($24).
"My idea is to make more landmarks so that people can swap them in and out and create new landscapes on their fingers.
"For now I just have the 4 landmarks but I have plans to expand the line to at least 4 or 5 more."
The Taj Mahal on your finger? That has a ring to it!
