Dog breeder Beverley Concannon, who owned the two Staffordshire bull terriers, bull mastiff and American bulldog that savaged Jade Lomas-Anderson, 14, who was found dead yesterday at a house in Atherton, Wigan, where police also found five "aggressive and out of control" dogs. Police found the girl's body and were confronted by the dogs, four of which have now been destroyed and the fifth has been contained. Jade, a friend of the Beverley Concannon's daughter Kimberley, is said to have been attacked by the dogs in the house after arriving with a meat pie to have lunch. The animals tried to bite the pie and then bit her throat and she was overpowered as the other dogs joined in attacking her

American photographer David Schultz captured intimate family moments of an adult and baby penguin while on a trip to the Antarctic.
The images include the chick peeking out from under the adult's brood pouch, being encouraged to walk on the ice and looking up to it's parent in admiration.
The Emperor penguins belong to a colony near Snow Hill Island along the Antarctic Peninsula.
Mr Schultz joined an expedition on board a Russian icebreaker to reach the hardy birds. The team travelled by boat and helicopter followed by a two-mile hike across the sea ice.
He said: "When I visited the chicks they were about three months old and were being looked after by either the male or female adult, sometimes both."
The female penguin lays a single egg and hands it over to the male. He cradles the egg on his feet until it hatches about nine weeks later. Meanwhile the female makes the long trek back to the open sea to feed so she can bring back the chick's first meal.
Mr Schultz said: "Telling the sex of an adult emperor penguin during this time of a chick's life is impossible as there is no obvious difference seen in the photos between the two.
"Typically the male will weigh more but that can greatly depend on the time of year. When these were shot male and female would generally be the same weight. The height and markings are the same."
Mr Schultz runs a gallery in the desert plains of Utah.

Butterflies Cluster to Keep Warm
These fascinating images show thousands of Monarch Butterflies clustered together in order to conserve heat during the winter months.
Every year over 25,000 Monarch Butterflies huddle together on the pine and eucalyptus trees of Monarch Grove Sanctuary in Pacific Grove, California.
Arriving in October it is thought the butterflies come from as far north as Canada, triggered by the decreasing daylight and freezing temperatures the Monarchs begin flying south towards the overwintering grounds sometimes up to 2,000 miles away.
After reaching their destination the Monarchs cluster in large masses to conserve heat and energy as their flight muscles do not function well unless the temperature is above 55 degrees.
Wildlife photographer Michael Yang visited the Monarch Grove Sanctuary on Boxing Day to witness the unique migration.
He said: "When I was there the temperature was in the mid 50's equivalent to ten degrees Celsius, which meant the majority of the Monarch Butterflies were in the cluster. However, it is not uncommon to see stray butterflies fluttering about."
During warmer days Monarchs will look for food sources such as nectar but always return to the clusters at night.
This migration is so unique because migrating species such as birds sand whales, the same individuals have travelled the migration route year after year however, migrating Monarchs have never been to their destination before because several generations of Monarchs would have lived and died since last year's butterfly migration.
A female Monarch Butterfly has approximately six weeks to seek out nectar, mate and lay eggs before she dies.

This stunning photograph shows 24 swallows huddling together to survive harsh winter weather.
The two dozen birds squashed together on a single branch along the Yukon River in Canada in an effort to conserve heat.
Photographer Keith Williams, 59, spotted the remarkable scenes while out walking his dog, Brandy.
He said: "I noticed several hundreds of swallows taking cover in the trees during the storm and immediately recognized how rare it was to see so many clinging together.
"I was amazed because I had never seen them in such large numbers and at such close range.
"They coped by crowding together on branches to conserve body heat and forming a pile, something I have never heard any bird do before.
"They also created their own warm jackets by fluffing their feathers and tucked their heads under their wings to conserve heat.
"Perhaps one of the reasons why I was able to get so close may have been because they had lowered their metabolism to conserve precious calories, so were in slowed-state called torpor, similar to hibernation.
"Extreme cold and snowstorms don't allow for flying insects their main food, but they did seem to be trying to pick some sort of aquatic insect off the surface of the river.
"I'm not sure how successful they were but I saw no dead birds".
Keith added: "I returned early the following morning to check up on the birds, as I feared many might have died from cold, hunger and exhaustion. All seemed fine.
"They allowed me to take photos from close range, which is unusual for this species.
"I was wearing camouflage gear and had been standing still for a quite a while.
"I was blown-away by some of the photos, especially the colourful close-ups which revealed the blue, metallic plumage.

Snow monkeys huddle together for warmth at Central Park Zoo, New York, America - 22 Jan 2011
They may be snow monkeys but even this group of primates from Central Park Zoo in New York are beginning to feel the chill. As temperatures in the Big Apple plummet, the group have taken to huddling together in order to keep warm. Snow monkeys, or Japanese Macaques as they are also called, are native to Japan. They live in the far north of the country, surviving in freezing temperatures of around -15 degrees Celsius in winter. In order to survive it is common for them to spend long periods of times submerged in naturally heated volcanic hot springs. However, with no hot tub available these Central Park monkeys have to make do with body heat.

Huddled together, fur standing on end, these mountain goat kids are clearly not enjoying this lightning storm.
Wildlife photographer Verdon Tomajko captured these stunning images of goats atop Mount Evans, a 14,000ft peak in Colorado.
They include shots of the kids leaping between boulders and the youngsters sticking together against a backdrop of dark grey skies and a lightning flash.
Verdon, 47, explains: "The baby goats started to get very anxious, running and jumping over the rocks, and over each other, with nervous energy from the incoming storm.
"Despite the potentially hazardous conditions, I wanted to keep shooting, trying to get this perfect shot with the goats pausing on a rock, and a lightning strike in the background - I call this photo "Panic on Titanic".
