(Pic 1 - detail) Baby rabbit starts to feed on a thistle plant
Baby rabbit reacts after realising it has eaten thistle plant, Suffolk, Britain - Jul 2015

If it looks tasty.. and it smells tasty... then OUCH!

This funny bunny bit off more than it could chew when it tried to nibble at a thistle plant.

Photographer Kevin Sawford snapped the peckish rabbit near Ipswich sizing up the greenery, before taking a bite.

The resulting reactions of the wild rabbit made for this series of hilarious images as it threw its paws in the air, contorted its face in disgust and stuck out its tongue.

Kevin says: "I had been photographing a family of wild rabbits at their warden in the Suffolk countryside over a few days in the summer.

"On this particular evening this youngster started to feed on the thistle plant. At first it seems content with its meal but then realises the mistake it has made when it bites into the prickly plant. Its reaction is priceless.

"The young rabbit soon recovered and was OK but had learnt its lesson on what to feed on."

The Pacific island nation of Palau has become home to the sixth largest marine sanctuary in the world.

The Micronesian reserve, now the largest in the Pacific, will permit no fishing or mining. Palau also established the world's first shark sanctuary in 2009.

The tiny island nation has set aside 500,000 square kilometres -- 80 percent -- of its maritime territory, for full protection. That's the highest percentage of an exclusive economic zone devoted to marine conservation by any country in the world. (FOTO: DUKAS/PHOTOSHOT)

Animals in drought-breaking rain storms, Masai Mara, Kenya - 26 Oct 2015
    FULL COPY: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/rf29

These stunning images taken last week show the biblical conditions as drought turned to flood on the Masai Mara.

Wildlife photographer and guide Paul Goldstein captured extraordinary pictures of lone animals picking their way between 'islands' on the deluged plains.

One image shows a lioness keeping her paws dry while teetering on a small mound of earth. Another shows a forlorn gazelle hunched and exposed to the heavy rains.

Wimbledon-based Paul explains: "Last week the drought in Kenya's Masai Mara was broken. Violently.

"This was the most intense rain I have ever experienced in 25 years of guiding here."

Paul's charity lecture 'Endangered' is at the Royal Institution in Mayfair on 11th November: http://www.exodus.co.uk/endangered15

Oops! What were they thinking? (3)
1210147 COM - What were they thinking? Fashion Disasters

It would seem that even the most fashion conscious of celebs can have an off day.

The stylists of these dreadfully dressed divas were obviously not around when they stepped out of the front door.

If they had they surely would have uttered that immortal line: "You're not going out like that!"

When left unattended there's no end of fashion faux pas a star can commit when looking for a 'stand out from the crowd' outfit.

But then looking fabulous 24/7 is something not even the most dedicated of A-listers can achieve.

And navigating the tricky minefield of fashion can be tricky at the best of times and pure style suicide at the worst.

Your 'unusual' outfit can just as easily be feted on every best dressed list as see you plunging to the bottom of the reject pile.

All of which goes to show that not even the hottest stars are immune to the odd fashion disaster.

Pop-princess BRITNEY SPEARS having a splash in the pool with her two sons in Marina Del Rey
Marina Del Rey, 2009-8-16 / Water wings and new buzz cuts! Pop-princess BRITNEY SPEARS relaxes from her European Circus tour and has a splash with her sons 3-year-old SEAN PRESTON and 2-year-old JAYDEN JAMES at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey, CA. Both sons sporting new short hair! BRIT was seen splashing around with JAYDEN and a sailing boat, sipping a smoothie in the pool and chatting with her assistant. BRITNEY's tats were peeking out from under her $134 Sonia Vera Martinique Bikini, the worn out extensions were bundled up in her trademark 'messy bun' and she protected her eyes from the sun with Blinde 'Ga Ga Galore' shades with handcrafted Japanese frames (wich she exchanged while swimming with JAYDEN). But don't forget the sun cream, BRIT! You are getting red skin! And are that marks from a tanning studio on her bottom? Notice, BRITNEY is still wearing her huge 'It-is-not-an-engagement-bling-ring' on her left hand with the neon-pink topped fingernails! © Copyright 2009, Most Wanted Pictures, Inc. | Tarzana | CA 91356 | USA | photo@mostwantedpictures.net (FOTO:DUKAS/MOST WANTED PICS)
