A COUNTRY WEDDING IN SPAIN IS A GAY AFFAIR

Old customs, traditional costumes, and folk dances are the rule at a village wedding in Spain. These pictures show a typical wedding in Navalcarnero, in the Province of Madrid, where the bride and groom and all those taking part wear the colourful costumes of old Spain, and all the country folk crowd into the village square, to watch the old folk dances, or to take part in the gaiety themselves.

Photo Shows: The bride and bridegroom watch the old country dances in the village square, the bridegroom wears a smart bolero jacket of fur and the bride wears a beatiful black lace mantilla over her braided hair, and carries a white fan and a white rosary and tucks white flowers in the bosom of her black gown.
