Chick fitted with special leg splints to stop it from falling over, Pontisticill, Wales, Britain - 08 Apr 2015
Newborn Peking bantam chick Roley damaged both legs breaking out of her egg, she has now been fitted with leg splints to keep her from falling over.
Animal lover Faye Lennon (22) faced having to put the chick to sleep if she could not walk.
But she worked with a vet to fit the braces which now keep her legs upright.
Faye christened the chick Roley because she was so wobbly she kept rolling over. She insisted that the chick was way to cute to be put down.

Shed of the Year 2013 competition entrants, Britain - Feb 2013
Entrants for the 2013 Shed of the Year competition are now being accepted. But forget your common garden shed, those entered in this competition are on a whole new level. They've been converted into pubs, diners, Chinese pagodas, boats and even clad in CDs by their fanatical owners. The contest, which is sponsored by garden woodcare brand Cuprinol, has already attracted more than 2,000 entries this year. Researchers from Cuprinol found that the typical owner spends over a year of their life in their shed. Almost 50 per cent of the 1,000 owners surveyed say they would be lost without their sheds, with 12 per cent preferring time there to being with their family. Nominations for the competition close on May 3rd, while the winners will be announced in the first week of July.

Hot Stuff: Art That's Literally On Fire
Some bright spark has set the art world alight and created these amazing images using spent matches and fire.
Stanislav Aristov, 30, makes the miniature sculptures by bending the matches into the desired shape while they are burning and then using a macro lens and studio flash he shoots the fire, matches and smoke.
Highlights include seasonal sculptures of a brightly lit Christmas tree and a burning star.
As well as a host of fiery animals including a matchstick dragonfly, a glowing butterfly and a tail-blazing lizard made out of the charred remains of matches.
The artist from Yekaterinburg in Russia said: "I came across this type of art by accident.
"I was playing with a pack of matches while I was deciding what to photograph for a competition.
"It was while I was watching the match that I began to think of how it represents life.
"There is the burnt part representing the past, the smoke of memories left and the untouched part of the match the future.
"The fire is the life. Matches of course are quite normal objects but it turned out they can be presented in very unusual ways."
