Zippo's Circus celebrates more than 250 years of circus entertainment
Zippo's Circus celebrates more than 250 years of circus entertainment.
Zippos use an industry standard antibacterial deep fogger, similar to the ones used on the tubes and trains, before every performance and once in the morning.

The entire auditorium, seats, fixtures and fittings including handrails are defogged plus all other associated areas, toilets, foyer, ticket office.

Due to the increased demand for tickets amongst both ‘staycationers’ and locals, the circus had to extend its stay in Brighton for an extra week and will now move onto East London.

Big Kid Circus back on the road
WORKINGTON, 29 July 2020 - Big Kid Circus back on the road and finally performing to a paying audience in Workington, Cumbria, three days after leaving Morecambe where they had been stranded since the government imposed lockdown was implemented two days before their first scheduled show of the season in March. The group, including 25 artists from the Cirque de Cuba, were stuck in the Lancashire seaside resort for more than four months and were unable to work or claim benefits, relying on food parcels and donations from local residents.
The company are now putting on three shows in Workington each day - playing to reduced capacity audiences due to Covid-19 restrictions - before moving on to Whitburn, South Tyneside. Having lost nearly five months of the season, they are campaigning for the government to allow work visa extensions to enable them to tour until Christmas.
