A six feet wide aluminium and glass clock described as 'an outstanding example of craftsmanship in metal, glass and wood' was today Monday, presented to Baden-Powell House, the Boy Scouts Association's £300 000 new international residential centre and meeting place in South Kensington, by the British Bottlers of Coca-Cola.
The clock was accepted by Sir Harold Gillett, chairman of the House Board and unveiled by a former scout Mr CB Longhurst, sales director of Coca-Cola Southern Bottlers Ltd.

The thousands of Commonwealth and foreign Scouts visitn Baden-Powell House, Queen's Gate, South Kensington, will now be able to tell the time "back home" by means of a world clock which has been presented to London's popular Scot centre by the British Bottlers of Coca-Cola. The gift takes the form of a fice foot eliptical world map cast in Aluminium, bearing eight clock faces, registering the time in various parts of the world.
