    The Prince of Wales met puppeteers Adam and Sharon Pinder opened the Dorchester Community Church which has recently relocated to a new premises, Liscombe Street,
    The church offers a variety of church services, and is used by the community. It contains a small café and they run a Toddler Group, Puppet Ministry, Senior Citizens Tea, Youth Club, Befriending Scheme, Food Share as well as running courses such as 'Alpha' and other various ministries and discussion groups. The church is also used by various health groups. For the last 3 years, the church has also hosted a free Family Fun Day for the people of Poundbury on the Great Field.
