India Strikes Pakistan to Avenge Terrorist Attack
May 7, 2025, Srinagar, Jammu And Kashmir, India: Indian security personnel stand guard in Wuyan, near Srinagar, following a sharp escalation in border tensions between India and Pakistan. Earlier that day, New Delhi launched missile strikes targeting alleged terrorist camps at nine locations in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, in response to a deadly attack it attributed to Islamabad. Amid the heightened military activity, an aircraft crashed in Wuyan, with its wreckage lying at the site now cordoned off by Indian forces, who have restricted public access to the area.
