A new study has revealed that sheep can recognize the faces of humans, such as Barack Obama, Jake Gyllenhaal, Emma Bruce and Emma Watson. The Cambridge University study, published on Wednesday, also indicated that the sheep can recognize the faces of their human handlers without any prior training. The UK-based researchers deduced that the fluffy livestock may have facial recognition abilities similar to those of humans and monkeys. The study was conducted using computer screens showing Obama, Bruce, Gyllenhaal and Watson because there were plenty of images available, taken from different angles. The sheep made the correct selection roughly 70 percent of the time on average, according to the study, which was published in Royal Society Open Science.
