FEATURE - Neuster Trend: Der QR Code Burger
In the neon-lit, Tokyo-inspired recesses of ICHIBUNS in Soho's Chinatown, a feat of new-age wizardry is transpiring. Each wagyu beef burger arrives with a dotted geometric pattern toasted into the top of the bun. Simply wave your smartphone over it, wandlike, for the payment to beam onto your smartphone and, hey presto! This is a scannable burger, and it’s a taste of things to come. Last week the restaurant launched the city's first "burger bun-branded QR code", in a partnership with mobile-payment service Zapper.

Christopher Laurie "Kit" Malthouse is an English Conservative Party politician, businessman and occasional writer. He was elected in the May 2015 general election as the Member of Parliament for North West Hampshire. The roll-out of the Government’s flagship welfare policy Universal Credit will now happen "seamlessly" after months of difficulties, a minister claimed today. Kit Malthouse, appointed in last month’s reshuffle to the Department for Work and Pensions, said changes to the system would make a "massive difference" and address "the bulk of issues".
