A giant 3D printer has been used to build a two storey house.Belgium-based Kamp C in Antwerp, built the prototype dwelling outdoors two floors using what it says is Europe's largest 3D printer.The construction has a total floor area of 90 sqare metre.The printer used was a COBOD BOD2 printer which has a 10 square metre footprint.The construction process involved extruding a special cement-like mixture out of a nozzle and building up the basic structure in layers until the external and iternal walls were complete. Human workers then came in and added the roof and windows, for example .The house has an entrance hall, two living rooms, and a kitchen area.
