CHINA: Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town
Construction workers work in front of the Guangzhou TV Tower in the Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou in south China's Guangdong province on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009. The Zhujiang New Town is planned to be the new central business district of Guangzhou. Guangzhou TV Tower will be the tallest communication and observation tower in the world after its completion in 2009, surpassing the CN Tower. The tower, designed by Mark Hemel and Barbara Kuit of the dutch practise, will reach 610m in height and is hoped will attract 10,000 visitors daily.
