    FEATURE - Eisberge in Grönland
On the west coast of Greenland, 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, in the disko bay many icebergs drift into the fjord and gradually melt into the ocean. These icebergs come from Jakobshavn Glacier Glacier (Sermeq Kujalleq in Greenlandic) listed as World Heritage Site since 2004. The glacier is one of the largest iceberg in the northern hemisphere suppliers. . This results in an annual production of 20 billion tonnes of icebergs (which represents the amount of fresh water used annually in France). A British travel company is offering diving fans the opportunity to dive under Greenland's spectacular icebergs.

Arctic Direct, based in Wiltshire, is the only travel operator in the world offering an exclusive package of six days and nights diving from the remote ice-covered island.

The company's managing director Charlotte Marshall-Reynolds says their unique package will offer diving enthusiasts the chance to experience unspoilt landscapes and incredible icebergs they won't see elsewhere.

The trip, which is available from next year, costs £4,795 per person and includes flights, transfers, accommodation and diving guided by an Arctic commercial diver.
