POLICE SEAL OFF LONDON FLATS AFTER NEW SQUAT OPERATION.

Police have isolated about 30 families who took over Abbey Lodge, Regents Park, in Londons latest squat operation by people in search of homes. Abbey Lodge is a block of flats. The squatters had no furniture, bedding or food and police refused to let anybody in or out of the building. Furniture removal men were prevented from unloading furniture and a woman who brought food was sent away by police. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Works were taking legal action to secure eviction of squatters in other flats.
