    AIRLINER WRECKED WITH 83 ABOARD WORST DISASTER

    Seventy-nine persons are reported to have been killed-heaviest death toll in civil aviation history - and 4 injured in a Tudor V airliner which nosedived into a field 20 yards from the village of Sigingstone, Glamorgan, this afternoon. The plane, owned by fairflight , Ltd., was returning from Dublin to Llandow airport, near Cardiff with 78 passengers, including some women, who had chartered it for the Wales V Ireland rugby match at Belfast, when it crashed half a mile from the airport runway. There was a crew of five aboard.

    SURVIVOR OF WORST AIR DISASTER

    Two brothers-in-law, Mr Handel Rogers and Gwn Anthony, survivors of the Tudor V airliner which crashed near the village of Sigingstone , Glamorganshire, this afternoon with 83 people on board. the two men, both from Llanelly , Carmarthenshire, and now at the service hospital, adjoining the R.A.F.station at St Athan, Glamorganshire, are believed to have only minor injuries.
    Mr.Rogers, 35, is a ship chandler and a grocer and is the father of a young daughter. Mr Gwyn Anthony, 27, is a school-master at Cross hands, near Llanelly . 79 persons are reported killed in aircraft, which had been chartered by 878 passengers for the Wales v Ireland rugby match at Belfast. It was on its way from Dublin to Llandow airport, near Cardiff, on the return journey when the disaster - worst in civil aviation in history - occurred.
