A Lego artist has built a full scale replica of superbike maker Ducati’s latest mean machine.The Ducati Panigale V4 , which costs €20,000 Euros, was brought to life with Lego Technic bricks by the Italian Riccardo Zangelmi.It celebrated the launched of a more modest 32 cm-long version by Lego which went on sale this month.The life-sized version used 15,000 Lego pieces and work on it took 400 hours.It tips the scales at 180 KG.Zangelmi is the only Italian artist recognised as a “Lego Certified Professional”.It was placed side by side with its baby brother at the Ducati circuit in Modena, Italy.Special guest at this event was Andrea Dovizioso, official racer of the Ducati Team MotoGP, and Lego fan.Zangelmi has been creating brick artworks for years but used Lego Technic for the first time for the Ducati project.He said he was thrilled with the result.

A Lego artist has built a full scale replica of superbike maker Ducati’s latest mean machine.The Ducati Panigale V4 , which costs €20,000 Euros, was brought to life with Lego Technic bricks by the Italian Riccardo Zangelmi.It celebrated the launched of a more modest 32 cm-long version by Lego which went on sale this month.The life-sized version used 15,000 Lego pieces and work on it took 400 hours.It tips the scales at 180 KG.Zangelmi is the only Italian artist recognised as a “Lego Certified Professional”.It was placed side by side with its baby brother at the Ducati circuit in Modena, Italy.Special guest at this event was Andrea Dovizioso, official racer of the Ducati Team MotoGP, and Lego fan.Zangelmi has been creating brick artworks for years but used Lego Technic for the first time for the Ducati project.He said he was thrilled with the result.
