Marked NYPD Van Set Ablaze In A Second Arson Attack In New York City
Members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit arrive to investigate the crime scene where an NYPD van is set ablaze by an arsonist suspect at 426 Union Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, United States, on June 18, 2025. Multiple Vehicles Were Set On Fire In An Arson Attack In A Parking Lot With NYPD Vehicles On Myrtle Avenue And DeKalb Avenue
Eight New York City Police Department vehicles are set on fire in a parking lot at Central Avenue and DeKalb Avenue, a block away from the 83rd Precinct Stationhouse, in an arson attack in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, United States, on June 12, 2025. At around 1:40 AM, multiple NYPD vehicles are set on fire in a parking lot in an arson attack by an unknown suspect. The FDNY and the NYPD investigate the crime scene. No additional information is immediately provided, and there do not appear to be any injuries or any known motive for the arson. Multiple police officers and detectives are on the scene canvassing the area for clues. Members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit are on the scene searching for evidence. Multiple incendiary devices are found, and other evidence such as sunglasses and a broken glass bottle is also discovered.
