FEATURE - Luftaufnahmen zeigen den Fluss Rio Tinto in Spanien
Aerial photographs show the Río Tinto river in Spain, which crosses an ancient mining site and makes the water turn a variety of bright colours. Copper, silver and gold are mined here, as well as iron which turns the water red.

An ochre mix is responsible for the yellow tint of the rest of the river, which is crossed by roads which allow travel across the site. Olivier Jarry-Lacombe took these photos at the Río Tinto mine site, which has been in use since 3000BC.

Full moon with cloud passing in front that looks like Pacman
Supermoon, Muir of Ord, Scotland - 13 Dec 2016
Could this be a sneak preview of a new computer game character based on the popular Pacman? Not quite. It's really Pac-MOON.
Photographer Peter Jolly snapped this on Tuesday night from his garden in Muir of Ord in the Scottish Highlands just as the full moon was rising in an almost clear sky over the Black Isle. Shining a bright yellow/orange glow over the landscape, it was in danger of being obscured by a wisp of cloud. And as the moisture drifted past, the moon had suddenly become Pacmoon for a brief moment. The red dots are the lights on the Black Isle TV mast about five miles away. He said yesterday: "It wasn't until I looked at the images on my computer that I realised I had a few frames of Pacmoon. "I shared it online with a few friends and they all agreed, although some also said it reminded them of the Alien in the Smash adverts and or Zippy from Rainbow."
