NEWS - Terroranschlag in Berlin: Gedenken der Opfer
December 20, 2016 - Berlin, Germany: Machine-gun toting Berlin police are on high alert in the wake of yesterday's terror attack when a stolen truck drove into a crowded Christmas market in the city center's Breitscheidplatz. So far 12 are confirmed dead and 45 injured. Authorities consider the incident an attack and arrested a Pakistani man they believed was the driver of the truck who fled on foot immediately after the attack. The man was later released due to insufficient proof he was the perpetrator. Among the dead are a Polish man, believed to be the legitimate truck driver, who was found in the passenger seat of the truck. Police are investigating the possibility that the truck, which belongs to a Polish trucking company, was stolen yesterday morning.
