Vincent the cat has been test-driving his new legs, which have been given to him by Iowa State Unviersity, America.

After being born with only two front legs, Vincent, aged 3, has lived a limited life.

He was adopted by owner Cindy Jones after she found him at an animal shelter when he was a kitten.

Thanks to new technology and design developments, Vincet now has a pair of alloy-titanium legs, that allow him to run and walk, like a normal cat.

The titanium-alloy legs are top-of-the-range, and were attached by vet Dr Mary Sarah Berg, who works in the Iowa State University Lloyd Veterinary Medical Centre.

In the photos, Vincent can be seen enjoying himself and strolling around the exam room.

Los Angeles, CA - Halle Berry continues filming today on the Farley brothers comedy "Truth or Dare" in Los Angeles. Halle wears what looks like some prosthetics on her face, and huge oversized breasts while she is pushed in a wheelchair during one scene. During the scene she is greeted by a man that appears to have a penis tattoo on his cheek. During breaks from filming Halle made a visit to the food tent to grab some fresh fruit for lunch.

  • Mitha's story
    DUKAS_16293169_POL
    Mitha's story
June 17, 2010, Port Au Prince, Haiti: When the January 12 earthquake struck Port-au-Prince, Mitha Saime, a 29-year-old mother with a magnetic personality, was trying to raise her four children on her own in a rough part of town. During the quake, falling debris crushed her legs, which were both amputated above the knee. She had no choice but to pass along the care of her children to her sister, living in Cite Soleil-- one the most notorious slums in the Western Hemisphere-- as she endured months of painful treatments in one hospital after another, hours away from her family. But in the five months since the earthquake, Mitha's life has come full circle. She has been given custom-made prostheses and physical therapy at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital and has learned how to walk again. Thanks to a generous NGO, Granted Wish Foundation, she and her family now live in a two-bedroom apartment in a much better neighborhood. Today Mitha is busy moving her children into the new house and adjusting to her new life and limbs. ///Mitha Saime's daughter Soneil, 3, lays on the floor next to her mother's wheelchair in the living room of the family's new home.
