Prince William was spotted in a park in Hertfordshire on his last job as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance last night (Thurs). The Duke of Cambridge landed in a park at the Templars Gate Estate in Royston to treat a patient on his last day with the charity. William was seen sitting in the helicopter at around 7.05pm after attending an emergency call out with the crew. It is not known at this stage what the call out was for, but the East Anglian Air Ambulance and East of England Ambulance Service attended. The helicopter left around 7.35pm without picking anyone up as the casualty was taken by land ambulance and landed back at Cambridge Airport at 7.55pm. Tracy Stressing, who lives near the park, said: "I had just heard the news on the radio that it was Prince William's last day and then a friend called to say he had just landed in the park nearby. I couldn't believe it and rushed there to take some photos."

Prince William has written a letter to his colleagues at the East Anglian Air Ambulance as he carries out his final shift today (27/07/17). His letter was published by local paper The Eastern Daily Press as he ends his two-year contract as a helicopter pilot with the charity this afternoon. In the letter he thanks his colleagues and the people of East Anglia and praises the "incredibly skilled" doctors and paramedics. He also said he was "proud" to have served with such an 'incredible' team. He wrote: "As I arrive for work at East Anglian Air Ambulance this evening, my last shift with this incredible team, I wanted to say thank you to my colleagues, team mates and the people of East Anglia who I have been so proud to serve.
