Under the autumn trees and at the end of the pathways are the entrances to the once storage facilities (known as "Hutches") for the fissile core of the nuclear weapons in the 1950's. RAF Barnham is in a quiet corner of Suffolk where half of the country's arsenal of atomic bombs was kept during the Cold War.
In the early 1950s the bomb stores were built for the maintenance of Blue Danube, Britain's first free falling nuclear weapon to be stockpiled
RAF Barnham nuclear weapons store, Norfolk, UK - 17 Nov 2018
At the peak of its use, as many as 57 nuclear warheads were housed there, ready to be mounted on 24ft-long Blue Danube bombs. Some 200 personnel, ranging from scientists to military guards, were based at the isolated spot. Security was tight with six watchtowers manned 24-hours a day.
Some of the former military buildings are now being used as industrial units with the rest of the base being restored by its owner Mr Keith Eldred.

All along their journey, refugees go from one transit camp to the other.
Photographer Frederic Seguin captured a photo series of Refugees 'in transit' as they make their way between camps in Macedonia. The series shows the strength and resilience of refugees as they try to make their way to safety.
Frederic said: "I wanted to take in all the different aspects of one of these transit camps, through the eyes of refugees.
"From crossing the border to leaving on a train, my pictures show you what it is inside and outside the transit camp of Gevgelija in the south of Macedonia."
With this photo series, Frederic wanted to emphasize the changing political situation, which has affected the transit camps.

Mother allowed 4-year-old son to starve to death then kept mummified body in bedroom, Bradford, Britain - 03 Oct 2013
A mother has been found guilty of manslaughter after allowing her 4-year-old son to starve to death before keeping mummified body in her bedroom. Hamzah Khan's mummified remains were discovered at Amanda Hutton's squalid Bradford home almost two years after he died in December 2009. During her trial Hutton claimed that her son was a fussy eater and difficult child who starved himself. However, the prosecution alleged that Hutton was a "nasty drunk" who cared more for alcohol than her son, who suffered starvation, punishment and neglect. Tests on Hamzah's remains showed he had the bones of a 12 to 18-month-old baby and had no muscle and hardly any flesh when he died. His body was discovered lying in a travel cot wearing a soiled nappy and a sleepsuit for a six to nine-month-old baby.

Wet Owls Look Miserable In The Rain
Feeling miserable in the rainy weather? These owls know just how you feel.
Megan Lorenz wasn't unhappy when she had rain on her Florida holiday; as a wildlife photographer she knew it would afford her some great shots of burrowing owls reacting to the soggy conditions.
The results of Megan's shoot over several days in Cape Coral is a gallery of unhappy flappers.
She explains: "On a trip to Florida in April, I had a few days of heavy rain. Typically people that go on vacation don't want it to rain but photographers are a different breed!
"I knew that once it started raining the burrowing owls would dance around, spreading their wings and giving me some great photo opportunities.
"One evening in particular, the rain just kept on coming down and it was pelting hard enough to sting your skin. At that point one of the owls flew up to the roof and looked completely miserable.
"I did feel horrible for her but was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture the bedraggled look on camera!"

'Free Willy' Trainer To Release Captive Dolphins
Following a dramatic rescue and nearly two years of rehabilitation these bottleneck dolphins have been declared ready for release.
Tom and Misha were rescued by international wildlife charity, Born Free after spending six years in a small, filthy pool in Hisaronu, Turkey.
Marine mammal expert, Jeff Foster and his team have spent 20 months of painstaking rehabilitation to increase the dolphin's levels of fitness and revert them back to a diet of live fish.
The dolphins are now fit and healthy and hunting their own food.
Jeff said: "You can sense that Tom and Misha are ready to go. Our work in preparing them for the chance of life back in the ocean has reached its conclusion.
"When the dolphin's sea pen is finally unzipped they'll be free to leave. I hope they will swim off and don't look back."
Having worked with marine mammals for over four decades, including the rehabilitation of Keiko, the orca star of the film 'Free Willy', Jeff believes that Tom and Misha's journey to freedom could provide a replicable pathway for more dolphins in the future.
In Turkey to help with final preparations for the release, Programme Director for the Born Free Foundation said: "This has been a long journey for all involved. Waving Tom and Misha off will be a high point in my 20 years working for animals."
When asked for the official date of the dolphins release Born Free's spokesperson, Kate Chapman said: "I'm afraid we don't have a definitive date for the release of the dolphins as the project is top secret, but it is imminent."
Tom and Misha will have satellite tags fitted at the time of their release and their progress will be tracked by the Rehabilitation team.

Tom and Misha in swimming pool - dolphins in rehabilitation after being kept in captivity for years.
Leap Of Faith: Dolphins To Be Released Back Into Wild After Years Of Captivity
These two bottleneck dolphins look ready to leap back into the wild as they prepare for a new life in the ocean after years of captivity.
Tom and Misha were rescued from the brink of death in September 2010 and are now entering their final but crucial stages of rehabilitation.
The dolphins are on schedule for release back into the Aegean Sea in late spring.
Born Free and the Turkish NGO Underwater Research Society rescued Tom and Misha from a squalid pool in the tourist town of Hisaronu (South West Turkey) after a major campaign against their incarceration in the summer of 2010.
During their long period in captivity, Tom and Misha lost the ability to catch and eat live fish. They had become so reliant on their keepers that when they first came to the rehabilitation centre they refused to eat fish unless it was put directly into their mouths. But after months of expert husbandry and conditioning, Tom and Misha are once again catching and eating live fish.
The dedicated international rehabilitation team, headed by US cetacean expert, Jeff Foster, who worked on the rehabilitation and release programmes for the orcas (killer whales) Keiko and Springer.
Some of the techniques adopted by the team were first tested during the rehabilitation of the orca Keiko; star of the Hollywood hit 'Free Willy'.
Jeff recalled: "We 'cut our teeth' on Keiko, which was a hugely expensive and ambitious project. We learned from that experience and this enabled us to go on and successfully release Springer, another orca."
He added: "Tom and Misha are different again, not only because they are a different species but because they have spent ye...

South Sudan. 4 000 people where killed during the oil wars.
Pariang is a small village of huts along its way. Katerina Chould Kor was taken as a sex slave when she was 14. They took 200 women that night. She is the only one who returned. For seven years she was kept in a cell in a prison in northern Sudan together with 50 other women and they were constantly raped by soldiers.
She is happy that she has been able to return home and that she is married. But she can never have the baby she dreams about because of the injuries from the rapes.

Shoppers could struggle to find a British poinsettia this year due to a SHORTAGE of the popular red Christmas plant.
Families should start buying the flaming red pot plants now as supermarkets and garden centres are likely to run out of home-grown poinsettias.
Demand for British poinsettias is always high because the festive flowers are better quality and longer-lasting than those grown on the continent.
But many UK farmers have stopped growing the plants because of high heating and growing costs.
"There are less growers in this country now as many smaller independent farmers are struggling to make it financially viable," said Marie Jackson, 29, co-director of the family-run Pinewood Nurseries in Stoke Pogess, Bucks.
"If people want a British poinsettia they should get one soon before supplies run out as there will only be a limited amount available this year."
Sales of poinsettias have rocketed in recent years and are now Britain's second most popular pot plant, beaten only by the orchid.
