    SNBear sticks tongue out
This is a bit fishy... A brown bear appears to stick out its forked tongue. The large animal is devouring a fish it caught while splashing around in a lake.

The photos were taken by Kevin Ebi in the Katmai National Park, Alaska. The 52-year-old nature photographer said he stayed about 50 metres away from the 'strong' animals but added they had little interest in people. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS. (FOTO: DUKAS/SOLENT NEWS)

Two otter siblings splash around as they fight over their fish supper.

The pair shout at each other and slap with their paws as they squabble amongst seaweed. The brother and sister are fighting over a rockling caught by their mum with the female otter ultimately capturing the prize.

These 'exhilarating' photos were captured on Shetland, Scotland, by native islander Brydon Thomason who lives Unst, one of the North Isles. The 48 year old wildlife photographer said: "This was not a fight, but a squabble, these confrontations are a constant in an otter family’s daily routine. SEE OUR COPY FOR MORE DETAILS.

Two mother bears fight over salmon, clawing and punching each other to try and get the fish. After all that neither bear got the salmon and some nearby seagulls were the lucky recipients instead.

The photos were taken in Katmai National Park, Alaska, by Rich Brooks who describes himself as a professional tourist. The 70 year old from the Sierra Foothills, California, said: "The bear on the left was having problems catching salmon, maybe she was a new mom and not experienced at catching extra salmon for cubs.
