[With more than 300 Santas, 100 snowmen, countless baubles and miles of tinsel, it¿s a grotto Father Christmas would be proud of. Christmas crackers couple Hilda and Harry Creaney from Willenhall, West Midlands, are known for decorating the modest semi-detached house over the festive period. Although hundreds of people come from far and wide to see the lights displayed on their house, very few have ever seen the inside of the property. For nearly six weeks every year it screams Christmas like no other. The 70-year-old has more than 1,000 decorations up in the hallway and living room. Santas, snowmen, penguins, angels and elves are arranged on the ceiling, walls and every flat surface, costing from 50p to £400. Many figures are more than 3ft high and most are connected to the mains so that they light up, sing or dance when switched on. There are also several elaborate clockwork scenes, such as a Santa¿s toy factory. The whole lot takes about three weeks to put up.] (FOTO: DUKAS/ACTIONPRESS)

[ The Statue Dogs were decorated by the 'Graffiti Grannys' for Christmas. A group of 'Graffiti Grannys' who have been sneaking around towns and leaving knitted decorations have been invited to exhibit their work in New York. The anonymous women from Cornwall aged between 40 and 63 have brought a smile to the faces of people in several towns with their near monthly 'attacks' since April Fool's Day in 2010. In that morning residents of Mousehole awoke to find their village covered in woolly mice. Since then the 'craftivisits' have decorated the city of Truro with flowers to celebrate Mother's Day and the seaside town of St Ives was covered in hearts on Valentine's Day. All of the acts are carried out under cover of darkness, with people rarely managing to catch a glimpse of the culprits.] (FOTO: DUKAS/ACTIONPRESS)

[ Collection of the mice found on the quay at Mousehole Cornwall left by the 'Graffiti Grannys' .
